Whistle ACME Thunderer Finger Whistle c. 1970 England

Whistle, The Acme Thunderer. This is a two finger whistle intended for use by referees, no doubt primarily of soccer, but could be any sport. No chain around your neck, and you can still use your hand for writing notes during play with the whistle in place. Made in England and in very nice used condition. Tiny dings to some edges, some patina on the chrome, but only enough to add character. The cork ball is in great shape, and yes, you can hear this whistle very well over any type of play.
