Vintage Cadillac Advertising Original Illustration Art—Sr PGA Golf, Automotive

This is a vintage original advertising fine art illustration from 1994. It was painted by David Bates of the McNamara Associates Studio in Detroit for use in a Cadillac dealer event brochure (Team Cadillac, Golf Magazine, Senior PGA Tour).

These kinds of fine art advertising illustrations are becoming more and more rare/desirable because photography and new digital processes have all but replaced traditional media in the category. (See my other listings).
This original illustration (1 of 2 from the brochure I am offering) would look great framed and make an interesting accent or conversation piece for any golf, advertising, or automotive enthusiast.
It is painted on a 24.5" x 16.5" illustration board that has been "peeled" for high-resolution drum scanning as was the practice at the time for print reproduction. The intended crop or mat opening is  approximately 12" x18" (see image), but this can be increased or decreased slightly because of the "overpaint" area. Also included with the purchase is the actual Cadillac brochure that features the illustration.
Because the illustration has been peeled for reproduction, it will be shipped in a mailing tube.
