This attractive pendant was probably manufactured in the 1960's , in acid tested 18 karat Gold,
In the shape of a shield , with the face of the pendant engraved and framed with smooth gold , and with the Hebrew letters שד"י  (Sheddai )applied on the surface , The letters of Sheddai represent the saying God protects the doors of  Israel and is used commonly in the mezzuza that adorns Door Frames, It is also used widely in amulets and charms for protection.
