Set of Five Vintage Macbeth Evans Pink American Sweetheart Dishes - 6"

Description

Set of five Macbeth Evans American Sweetheart Pink 6" bread and salad plates. MacBeth Evans produced the American Sweetheart line of dishes between 1930-1936.  MacBeth Evans was later purchased by Corning.  The beautifully thin, translucent glass is tinted a soft pink.  The glass is in good vintage shape - there are no chips or breaks.  Upon very close inspection, there are some glass/factory imperfections, including bubbles, tiny bumps or extra material, and uneven glaze in one spot.  These flaws do not detract from the beauty of these dishes.   Please see photos for details. The plates measure 6.25" inches in diameter.
