    We are pleased to offer this lovely little 4 piece miniature one cup ceramic teapot in the PVF4/PVF5 pattern manufactured in France. It is marked with initials PV that stand for Peasant Village - the name used by the importer Mittledorfer Strauss of NewYork.

    This
    pattern features red/maroon hand painted flowers and leaves in the center with red bands/rings around the rim and no trim. This teapot is actually an individual single serve drip tea maker. The infuser and its lid sit on top of the teapot with the tea leaves in the colander. Hot water is then poured into the infuser to steep the tea leaves and make the tea.
    It is sure to be an ornamental oddity in any home.
    This small 8 oz teapot stands 5-3/4 inches tall with the infuser, 3-3/8 inches without the infuser. "Made In France PV" is stamped on the bottom of the teapot.
    It has one teeny dot size nick on the edge of the infuser and two little dots where the glaze is raised (extremely minor). Otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. The white spot on the leaf in the photo is from the flash. Just the cutest little vintage French teapot that you are sure to want to add to your collection. And the perfect piece for those who prefer to brew with loose tea instead of tea bags.
