This listing is for a lot of four (4) sandwich/salad/dessert plates.  They can be dated to ca. 1952-1955 by the Poole backstamp.  The designs and style of hand-painting of the designs are known as "Trudiana" (so named after Truda Carter).  The artists initials are on the back of the plates.
All four plates have a cream color matte finish and have "different but similar" floral designs.  Two plates have a taupe and a greenish/teal ring around the outer edge and a floral design of taupe, teal, and a brighter green.  The other two plates have a taupe and pink ring around the outer edge and a floral design of taupe, gray and pink.  The backs of all four plates have a glossy glaze.
These plates are in excellent vintage pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, or fleabites.
