escargot
pea type whistle. These were made by the J. Hudson & Co for the military.  On the left side of the
whistle
, there is a WD
crows-foot
marking /|\ , a "
I"
for India
and the date 1904. Has a bright, very loud tone like it should. The pictures show it well.
The whistle is solid and cork pea is in great shape and the whistle has a great finish. The first picture shows the nice nickel finish of the whistle, while the other pictures have a slight tint from the camera reducing reflection. The date of the whistle is
1904 and in good shape for 100 + years
.
