    Description

    Spode stoneware printed plate with printed design and colored enameling. c.
    1816.
    Condition: In excellent condition consistent with age and usage. Please examine the photos; they are part of the description.
    Dimensions: Approximately 9¾” diameter.
    Decoration:
    The rim is decorated with floral sprays.
    The cavetto is decorated with a leaf and swag design.
    In the center is chinoiserie design consisting of a budding tree, a peony, a rose, and the lingzhi or sacred fungus of immortality.
    On the reverse is the printed Spode mark for the period 1812 – 1833 and the painted pattern number 2407.
