This is a rare shooting script for the movie Blade Runner  - 1981
Signed on the front cover Rutger Hauer  - not an original signature - it is a photocopy
It was repped by the Brighton Productions - see photos for cover page of the script
They had an office in Hollywood. Their office was on Beachwood Drive
This script is dated July 24, 1980 on the cover and then on the first title page it is dated Feb 23, 1981
This is an originial screenplay by Hampton Fancher
This script has 133 pages - definitely long for a Hollywood screenplay - the preferred length is 120 pages
It is in good condition but not perfect condition as it is a photocopy that was given to me. So, it is a complete and full copy - all pages are complete and intact but it is not what you would call a super clean copy. They are "artifacts" from it being photocopied all those years ago, in 1980. This was before word processing was rampant and way before digital copies, scans or the like. This script was most likely written on a typewriter and then copied on a Xerox machine at the agency.
This script is from my private collection. I lived in LA in the 1990's and had a small production company and was given many scripts over those years to read, review, give coverage for, etc. I have a few hundred scripts left. sadly, I threw out hundreds of them over the years.
